About the Department

Professor Dr. Hans-Jürgen Puhle is a political scientist and director of the Center for North American Studies (ZENAF) at the Johann Wolfgang von Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. He previously taught history in Münster and Bielefeld and was a visiting professor in Buenos Aires and at the prestigious American universities of Cornell and Stanford, to name a few. Hans-Jürgen Puhle is also one of the publishers of "Iberoamericana" magazine.
