Biographical Note:
Russell Muirhead, Associate Professor, is currently researching the philosophic basis of partisanship in liberal democracy. He is collecting his findings in a book, Left and Right: A Defense of Party Spirit. His previous book, Just Work, is forthcoming from Harvard University Press. Muirhead’s areas of interest center on contemporary theories of justice, and 17th and 18th century English and Scottish political thought. Prior to joining the Government Department he taught at Williams College.
