I am a first-year doctoral candidate in the Department of Government at Harvard University. My research interests include the comparative political economy of business regulation and the politics of global climate change mitigation. I also have a Master in Public Policy degree from the Harvard Kennedy School. Before attending Harvard, I spent four years lobbying the North Carolina legislature on campaign finance regulation issues and studied public policy at UNC-Chapel Hill. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, traveling, attending political conventions, writing policy memos, and observing elections in places like Belarus, Moldova, and Goldsboro, NC.
