Dr. Andrea Tivig is a Lecturer in Government and Lecturer on Social Studies. She recently finished a PhD dissertation entitled Moving Beyond Borders: Freedom of Movement within and between States. Her research interests include migration, nationalism, public space, and democratic theory. She received a MA in European Politics from the University of Bath, Sciences-Po Paris and the Humboldt University of Berlin. She holds a BA degree in Politics and International Studies from the University of Warwick. Previously, Andrea Tivig has been a Fellow at the Project for Justice, Welfare and Economics within the Weatherhead Center for International Studies as well as at the Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics.
