Diane is a fourth-year PhD candidate in the Department of Government. Her dissertation includes work on the quality of health services in Brazil as well as the Seguro Popular health program in Mexico. She also holds research and teaching positions at the Harvard School of Public Health.

Diane graduated in 2008 from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia and has accepted a position in the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine Class of 2016.
