Erin Baggott received an A.B. in Government and Economics from Harvard College in 2008, magna cum laude, and a M.Sc. in Modern Chinese Studies from the University of Oxford in 2009. She is currently a predoctoral fellow at the Center for International Security and Cooperation at Stanford University. Her research interests include Chinese foreign policy, autocratic politics, and the security dilemma. Methodologically, she employs quantitative text analysis and computational social science in her research. She was previously awarded a Harvard University von Clemm Fellowship and a Fulbright Scholarship and has worked at the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee, the US Embassy in Beijing, and the United Nations in Rome.
