Kenneth Haig
Post-Doc Lecturer
Dr. Haig received his A.B. in History from Harvard and his Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley. His research focuses on the comparative politics of immigrant integration in Japan and East Asia. Dr. Haig’s publications include a book chapter in Handbook of Japanese Politics (Alisa Gaunder ed., Routledge, 2009). He has received numerous awards and fellowships, including the Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship and the Teaching Effectiveness Award at UC Berkeley. While at Harvard, Dr. Haig plans to complete his book manuscript and will also teach a course on immigration and citizenship in the Department of Government in the spring semester.
