About the Department

Reuven Y. Hazan is an Professor in the Department of Political Science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He received his PhD from Columbia University and has been in Jerusalem since 1992. He has taught at Columbia, Emory and Fordham Universities in the USA. Hazan is at Harvard for the 2009-2010 academic year as the Nahshon Visiting Professor of Israel Studies, a joint appointment with the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Cultures. His areas of research and publication cover parties and party systems, electoral systems and legislative studies.
