Roberto Foa received his BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Oxford and his MPhil from Jesus College, Cambridge. In 2004 he was selected as Peter Martin Fellow at the Financial Times, and since 2006 has worked on designing the Social Development Indicators Project, an international study of social institutions, at the World Bank in Washington DC. Roberto was coordinator for the 2007 World Values Survey in Rwanda, and has authored several papers and book chapters on topics of social capital, democracy and economic development.
