Seminar and Tutorial Information

Seminar and Tutorial Info

Junior concentrators thinking about being honors candidates must enroll in either a junior seminar (Government 90) or a junior tutorial (Government 98) each semester. You may take two seminars, two tutorials, or one seminar and one tutorial. Syllabi for spring term junior seminars and tutorials will be available online and at the Undergraduate Program Office as they become available. Classes begin Wednesday, January 30. Please note that junior seminars and tutorials meet during the first week of classes. (You should check the online course catalog and supplement for course changes (if any) and classroom locations.) If a seminar or tutorial is scheduled to meet for the first time after the lottery deadline there may be a brief informational meeting; times and locations will be announced as they become available. The junior seminar/tutorial lottery form must be returned to the Undergraduate Program Office at CGIS, Knafel Building, 1737 Cambridge St. by 12:00 noon on Friday, February 1. Students who fail to submit a 90/98 lottery registration form on time will receive last priority in the assignment of seminars and tutorials. Lottery results will be posted on the Undergraduate Program website by the evening of February 1. An e-mail will go out when results are posted. No results will be divulged before then. Your patience will be much appreciated!
