Biographical Note:

Anders Corr (Yale B.A., M.A., 2001, Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa; Harvard M.A. 2006) is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Government, Harvard University. He was a National Science Foundation Graduate Fellow, has taught for President Lawrence Summers, is a member of the Atlantic Partnership and Center for Strategic and International Studies, and is a reviewer for the Journal of Conflict Resolution. He has published widely, including the book No Trespassing (Cambridge: South End Press, 1999) and writing that has appeared in the New York Times, Houston Chronicle, Washington Report on Middle East Affairs, and the Non-Proliferation Review. His academic work focuses on state size, alliances, consolidation and failure of states and empires, hegemony, international law and organization, nonparametric statistical methods, formal theory, and computational modeling. Policy interests include relations between the United States, Japan, and the European Union, nuclear strategy, the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, deterrence, terrorism, and the application of information technology to intelligence gathering.
