Thesis Title: Keeping Legislators Dedicated: Constituency Response to Congressional Representation
Advisors: Claudine Gay, Stephen Ansolabehere, Sidney Verba

Biographical Note:

I'm a PhD student in the Government department. My interests include the role of public opinion and mass behavior in American politics. In particular, I focus on how constituents hold their representatives accountable for policy decisions made in their names.

For the 2007-8 academic year, I am a Dissertation Fellow at the Center for American Political Studies and am affiliated with the Kennedy School's Center for Public Leadership.

In the past, I have coordinated the Political Psychology and Behavior Workshop here at Harvard, and have served as a TF for Gov 1352 (Campaigns and Elections) and Gov 30 (American Government: A New Perspective).

Papers:

Strategic Voting in the United States With Barry C. Burden (University of Wisconsin - Madison).
Constituents' Policy Perceptions and Approval of their Members of Congress With Stephen Ansolabehere (MIT).
