Match Education - Chicago
My name is Jasmine Mark, and I work for Match Education, a non-profit in Boston working to close the achievement gap through various innovations including full-time professional tutoring and teacher training. I am trying to get the word out about our newest urban education fellowship opportunity in Chicago for graduating seniors.
We recently partnered with the University of Chicago Crime Lab to work with some of the lowest performing schools in Chicago as part of a two-year clinical study researching effective ways to reduce violent crimes and drive academic performance in adolescent males.
Seeing Government students who are passionate about education reform who would apply to this urban education fellowship for the upcoming school year. It is an 11-month commitment and is open to any major. It’s an amazing opportunity for top students who are interested in pursuing a career in education or would like to do something meaningful for a year before going to graduate school.
