Undergraduate Program

Major Walt Cooper teaches in the Social Sciences Department at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point while completing his dissertation.  His research, entitled "Blood and Treasure: Fiscal Strategies in Civil War," focuses on irregular combatants' use of economic approaches to achieve effects that would otherwise require military force.
