Karen Kaletka

I have worked in the Government Department for 18 years, 15 of which have been in my current position overseeing the undergraduate program. I love working with our incredible undergraduates as an adviser and guide, and seeing them grow during their time as concentrators. Our department, and Harvard in general, is an extraordinary place, and I have appreciated having access to the truly astounding resources here.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, son, and friends. I have also enjoyed taking (almost) free classes at Harvard Extension School and earned an ALM in Creative Writing and Literature in 2022 (I’m working on revising my master’s thesis, a novel, for publication). I also enjoy food in all of its aspects (cooking, eating, etc.) and am quite renowned for my talent in inventing cocktails.
