Programs of Study

All undergraduates in the Government Department can choose to pursue the honors track, which involves conducting original research and producing a senior honors thesis.

In addition, the Department of Government offers five optional curricular programs that enable students to explore themes around more specialized areas of political studies: Data Science, Tech Science, Public Policy, Political Economy, & Law and Justice.

Government advisors help students identify a collection of courses focused on their selected area of study. Co-curricular programming supplements the coursework and connects students to others with shared interests. Not only will these programs guide students in their curricular choices, but they will also provide students with a specific set of skills or training within their area of study as part of their Government degree.
