Communications / Projects Manager

I have been with the Department of Government for just over one year. My role is the first of its kind for Gov so I spent the first six+ months understanding the Department and creating a series of strategic documents, including a full Communications Strategy, Crisis Communication documents, a brand refresh with clear guidelines, and much more.

Day to day, I’m responsible for all internal and external communications for the Department. This includes the design, creation, and distribution of a wide range of marketing materials well as ownership of the department website, social media platforms, internal communications, and PR support for faculty and students.

The other aspect of my role is managing a variety of projects for the Department – from spearheading the Space Planning Committee, to directing website migration projects, and much more.

I am also part of the Executive Committee for University-wide group The Committee on the Concerns of Women at Harvard (CCW). It has been a really rewarding experience and great to meet like-minded people across campus.

Originally from the UK, I moved to Boston in the summer of 2023. I really enjoy exploring New England and traveling across the wider US as well as reading and getting outside in the sunshine!
