Peer Concentration Counselor
Class of 2026 (Cabot House)

Hi everyone! My name is Brooke Jones, and I’m from Easton, Connecticut. I am currently a rising senior in Cabot House concentrating in Government, with a secondary in Mind, Brain, and Behavior, and a language citation in Spanish. I’m so excited to be a PCC this year and help you navigate all the great resources the Gov Department has to offer!

Within Gov, I am passionate about learning about processes of democratization, democratic backsliding, and civic engagement. I’m particularly interested in how economic and social inequality can interact and interfere with each of those processes. Some of my favorite Gov classes I’ve taken include Prof. Levitsky’s GOV1290: Democracy and Authoritarianism and my sophomore tutorial on The Law and Politics of U.S. Voting.

Outside of academics, I am one of the captains of the Harvard Undergraduate Mock Trial Association, and I was the Collaborations Director for the Harvard Votes Challenge. In my free time, I love long-distance running, baking, and spending time with family and friends.

Please feel free to reach out if I can be helpful in any way! I’m happy to talk about anything and everything—from choosing Gov classes to navigating a STEM secondary or anything else I can help with.
