Peer Concentration Counselor
Class of 2024 (Quincy House)

Hi everyone! My name is Alex and I’m a junior in Quincy house from Scarsdale, New York. I study Government and with a focus in US foreign policy within the Public Policy program, and I’m pursuing a secondary in history. I’m thrilled to be a PCC!

I chose this concentration because it allows me to pursue a wide range of my interests: international relations, national security, war studies, domestic politics, etc. However, I considered several other concentrations before landing on Gov and am happy to discuss that process with any prospective concentrators.

I spend most of my time outside of class with The Harvard Crimson serving as Sports Chair, but I’m also involved with the Harvard College Hellenic Society, the Harvard Undergraduate Foreign Policy Initiative, and have been in few different IOP programs. I’m also getting certified to be a fitness instructor at the MAC, so you can catch me there soon!

Outside of school, I’ve tried a diverse array of internships/jobs in politics and policy, ranging from political journalism for Jessica Yellin ’93’s start-up, to campaign work/strategy for my father’s gubernatorial race, to working in the U.S. State Department this past summer. I am happy to discuss all of those experiences with anyone who may be considering those fields!

Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have – I’m an open book and happy to discuss any of the above. Looking forward to meeting you all:)
