
Emma Barrett is a first-year Ph.D. student studying political psychology and behavior in American Politics. She is broadly interested in how the information environment, both online and offline, shapes voting behavior, attitude formation, and perceptions of government. Her current research explores the appeal of antidemocratic candidates in US politics. At Harvard, Emma is an affiliate with the Center for American Political Studies (CAPS).
Prior to beginning her Ph.D., she earned a B.S. in Political Science and International Affairs from Florida State University.
