Keeling Baker
Peer Concentration Counselor
Class of 2025 (Quincy House)

HelloMy name is Keeling Baker, and I am a senior in Quincy House concentrating in Government with a secondary in Economics and citation in Spanish, and I am one of this year’s Peer Concentration CounselorsI am from Little Rock, Arkansas, a place that I love very deeply and has greatly shaped what I am interested in.  Growing up around a lot of socioeconomic inequality has driven me to want to learn more about its root causes, both at home and abroad, and the government concentration has allowed me to do that thoroughlyIt has allowed me to learn about the theoretical side of inequality and politics with gov 10 with Prof. Beerbohm to how different types of inequality affect outcomes for different people around the world (gov 20 and 40)And I have been able to explore all sorts of other topics from applying game theory to political situations in gov 1015 with Prof. Hummel and learning behavioral economics in gov 1789 with Prof. HiscoxAside from studying gov, I study econ and Spanish, and aside from studying, I am a board member of the Harvard College Democrats, I serve as the manager of the Harvard Men’s Tennis Team, and I am the co-founder of the Harvard Undergraduate Arkansas ClubI am really excited to meet many new faces and help out as a PCC this year!
