Hi everyone! My name is Kimani and I am a senior concentrating in Government with a secondary in Educational Studies. I’m originally from Long Island, NY, and I am so excited to be one of your Government PCCs this year!
My interests in Government lie at the intersection of American politics, law, campaigns, public policy, race, and representation. Some of my favorite classes within the department have been GOV 1510: American Constitution Law and a GOV 94 seminar, “Crime, Responsibility, and the Law.”
Outside of class, I have completed internships in the nonprofit and private sectors. I have also been involved in several organizations on campus including Harvard’s student government, the Institute of Politics, the Leadership Institute at Harvard College, and the Harvard Foundation for Intercultural and Race Relations. I am happy to talk about selecting courses, study habits, or finding internship opportunities.
