Lucía Mendoza Mora
Ph.D. Student in Government

I am a PhD student in the Department of Government at Harvard University, interested in the political economy of democratic accountability, corruption, and organized crime in Latin America. Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, I received BAs in Economics and History, and an MA in Economics from Universidad de los Andes. Prior to my graduate studies, I worked at the Center for the Study of Security and Drugs (CESED) and the Center for Studies on Economic Development (CEDE) at the same university, where I researched civil war, crime, and police-community relations.
