Meet the Director of Undergraduate Studies

Nara Dillon Headshot

My name is Nara Dillon and I teach courses on Chinese politics and economic development, as well as comparative courses on poverty, urbanization, and globalization. In addition to my academic research, I am also interested in American politics and policy as a citizen and activist. Before going to graduate school, I worked as an analyst and deputy budget director for the state Senate Ways & Means committee. I have also volunteered for political campaigns and NGOs.

I hope to meet all of you over the next year. We strive to make the Government Department a place where you can pursue your passions, learn valuable skills, and find friends and mentors who share your interests. If you have any ideas for activities, groups, or events that might enliven our community, please let me know.
